Reporting Skills
Take one or two reporting tools that are widely used in the for-profit sector and learn everything about the tool(s) until you will consider yourself an expert.
Focus on one of these reporting tools (Crystal Reports, Microsoft Sql Server Reporting Services or Microsoft Access Reporting)
SQL Queries:
Become highly skilled or expert at writing complex SQL statements.
Learn the ins and outs of writing inner joins, outer joins, subqueries, stored procedures, etc.
Learn how to write highly optimized sql queries that take advantage of primary keys and indices.
Learn how to spot data inconsistencies and data redundancies and then normalize the data in your tables to third (3rd.) normal form.
Learn how to add foreign keys to tables and create one to one, one to many and many to many relationships.
